Welcome and thank you for your interest in hosting a fundraiser at
Urban Plates! For
your convenience, fundraisers may take place both in-restaurant and online. Urban
Plates donates 20% of net proceeds to support your cause. To give our restaurants time
to prepare, fundraiser applications must be submitted at least 1 month prior to the event
date.
Eligibility
We partner with various non-profits for fundraisers such as:
K-12 Schools
Youth Based Charities & Outreach Programs
Food & Agriculture-Based Programs
Other 501(c)(3) organizations
We are not able to support the following types of organizations and causes:
For-profit organizations or businesses
Political or religious groups
Individual causes
Organizations that discriminate against a person or a group on the basis of
gender, ethnicity, age, race, national origin, disability, political affiliation, sexual
orientation or religious belief.
Urban Plates maintains the right to use the information provided
in this application to
verify your organization’s eligibility and tax exemption status. Applications that do not
meet our criteria may be rejected at any stage in the process. Urban Plates reserves the
right to deny applications and/or cancel a scheduled fundraiser for any reason in its sole
and absolute discretion.
How It Works
Complete and submit your fundraiser application through this online form. Fundraiser
approvals will be sent by email. If approved, we will provide a digital flyer for you to
promote your fundraiser with your organization.
Setting up tables, stands, or passing out flyers in or directly outside Urban Plates is not
permitted.
For purchases to count towards your fundraiser, your supporters must either a) make
their purchase at the register and present a physical fundraiser flyer or digital flyer on a
mobile device, or b) order online at urbanplates.com or on the Urban Plates app and
enter your fundraiser’s code during the checkout process. Catering orders, orders
placed through third-party platforms (e.g., DoorDash), and gift card purchases will not
count towards your fundraiser. A $250 minimum event sales amount is required to be
eligible to receive any donation of event proceeds.
Urban Plates will donate 20% of the net proceeds from valid
purchases (excluding any
tax, tip, delivery fees, orders placed through third-party platforms, catering orders, or gift
card purchases). A minimum net sales amount of $250 must be met in order to receive
a donation from your fundraiser. Donations will be issued as a check made payable to
your organization and mailed through the USPS.
Fundraisers are a joint effort between your organization and Urban
Plates. Throughout
the fundraiser process, you agree to utilize the Urban Plates brand name in a
professional and respectful manner.

Plate Pass Terms & Rules
Plate Pass is a membership subscription available exclusively at Urban Plates. It saves members 20%
on
all main menu food and beverage purchases made at the restaurant (cashier), on the website, or app
for
the duration of the membership. Plate Pass memberships are valid from the date of the purchase of
the
membership and automatically renew unless canceled. Plate Pass is not available for gift card
purchases,
delivery, catering, and limited-time holiday meals (e.g., Thanksgiving turkey & Easter ham).
The 20% savings applies to all main menu food and beverage items including non-catering food items,
beverages, desserts, and add-ons (e.g., extra protein, extra sides, add-on avocado). Delivery,
catering,
and gift card orders are not part of the Plate Pass program. Plate Pass is not available with any
other
bundles, discounts or offers. Thanksgiving turkey items and Easter ham are excluded from Plate Pass.
The
20% savings is subject to all applicable sales taxes and the 3% surcharge that is added to all Urban
Plates dine-in and takeout orders.
Plate Pass can be used for orders placed at the restaurant (cash register), on the Urban Plates
website,
or with the Urban Plates app.
Monthly: $5 per month, billed monthly, 20% discount for dine-in and takeout
(including alcohol).
6-Month: $30 for six months, billed every six months, 20% discount for dine-in,
takeout, and delivery.
12-Month: $60 for twelve months, billed every twelve months, 20% discount for
dine-in and takeout.
Memberships are valid from date purchased & auto-renew.
A Plate Pass membership shall be valid from the date of purchase (“Plate Pass period”). The Plate
Pass
membership will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle until cancelled. For example,
if a
monthly membership is purchased on January 12th, it will renew on February 12th unless cancelled.
Fees
are subject to change with prior notice. Members may cancel at any time via the Urban Plates app,
website, or by emailing platepass@urbanplates.com.
Cancelled subscriptions are not eligible for a
refund.
The Plate Pass price will be applied at checkout. Menu prices show normally, but the 20% savings
appears
as a discount line item on your receipt. For example, a $19 entree will show as $19, with a $3.80
discount applied.
Members may cancel anytime via the app, website, or by emailing platepass@urbanplates.com. Cancelled
subscriptions are not eligible for a refund and the cancellation becomes effective at the end of the
current Plate Pass period.
A Plate Pass membership must be purchased online using the Urban Plates website or app. Once
purchased,
it can be used at the restaurant register.
Applies to all menu items including non-catering food, beverages, desserts, and add-ons. Excludes
catering, gift cards, and holiday meals. Cannot be combined with other discounts or bundles. Subject
to
sales tax and 3% surcharge.
Members can order up to 15 entrées per order. Unlimited orders are allowed during each membership
period, but catering is excluded.
Plate Pass can be used for dine-in and take-out orders in-restaurant, on the website, or app.
Delivery
is not eligible.
Memberships are tied to the account holder and cannot be shared with others.
Plate Pass must be purchased by the account holder who will use it. It cannot be gifted or
transferred.
Plate Pass cannot be applied to delivery orders, catering, or gift cards, whether placed through
Urban
Plates or third-party delivery services.
By purchasing a Plate Pass subscription, the member agrees to allow Urban Plates to charge recurring
fees until cancelled. The member acknowledges that Plate Pass auto-renews, understands cancellation
terms, and confirms that sharing memberships is not allowed.
